ABOUT
Kirurumu Under Canvas has partnered with Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp, a luxury tented camp set in one of the most strategic and beautiful areas in the Ngorongoro Highlands. As a small and intimate camp the staff are on hand just to look after a very limited number of guests and so the level of attention and service is always excellent.

"Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area - situated in the Ngorongoro Crater rim valley, close to the access road into the crater, giving guests unrivaled access to the crater floor.
Ngorongoro is home to a large assortment of animals including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo and elephants; and an amazing population of predators - lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.

I absolutely loved this place, tented camps at its best with a massive splash of 5 star service, food and facilities. I prefer these places to the hotels/lodges as the entire experience of being in the wild (safely) with the noises, smells and sights is why you come on safari.
The service here is unique and special, tea brought to the tent, blankets for the warmth, wine on our bed, cocktails round the camp fire and lots of lovely chats with fellow campers.
Camping at its very best, very posh, 5 star service and most importantly you get the outdoor natural experience you come to Africa for!!!

MAP LOCATION
"In a dense montane forest on the rim of the crater, this camp is absolutely stunning. Looks overun with the forest greenery but in a very organised way. The tent attendents are all ever ready to help and at hand with hot water for a bush shower. Charles, the manager was at hand with oritnation and the staff were all absolutely helpful. Anderson and Nuuru were our knowledgeable, attentive and protective guides.
As I said before in my review of Sanctuary Kusini, the staff make the difference and this hold true here too."
