Enjoy an optional ethno botanical walk escorted by a local Maasai guide. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park after breakfast taking picnic lunches. Full day spent game viewing in this park which boasts rich ground water forest, lakeside grassland and an abundant variety of trees and shrubs. Early evening return to Kirurumu Manyara lodge for dinner and overnight.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and after clearing immigration and customs formalities, you will be personally met and driven to Arusha National Park where you will spend half the day on a guided tour of the park including options to hike on the rainforest slopes of Mount Meru escorted by an armed ranger or walking across the Ngurdoto Crater, taking a picnic lunches at a water falls. (Optional canoe safari available at a fee) Mid-afternoon depart the park and drive to Tarangire arriving early evening at the Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge for dinner & overnight.
After breakfast drive to Manyara and engage in any of these optional activities:
Mountain biking through the Farms: An easy cycle ride down the Great Rift Valley wall into the farming village of Mto Wa Mbu. Experience local cultures from the bike, ride through some of the Manyara ground water forest and between small herds of wildlife on the lake-shore
Village Walk: Visit Mto Wa Mbu village for a great cultural experience with an experienced, English speaking guide who grew up in the village! Visit local farms, schools, a kindergarten, local homes, the market and milling machines. Drive to the Lodge for Lunch and an afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the Kirurumu Manyara Lodge.
Enjoy an optional ethno botanical walk escorted by a local Maasai guide. After breakfast you’ll embark on full day of game viewing taking picnic lunches. Among many aspects of animal behavior, your Guide will point out the fascinating way elephants have of communicating with subtle interactions. Return to lodge for an evening entertainment by Maasai dancers and cultural interaction. Dinner and overnight at the Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.
After a leisurely breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch and some retail therapy and later transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international departure flight.

Kids Activities at the Lodges
Kids aged 12 and under will enjoy at no extra charge learning how to roast marshmallows over the fires, throw (blunt) spears and use bows and arrows like the Maasai, learn tracking techniques, walk with the Maasai, & story telling about about Tanzania and so much more
